Advertiser FAQ – Coffee News®
Q: How long has Coffee News® been around?
A: Coffee News® was founded in 1988 by Jean Daum in Winnipeg, Canada. It has since grown into an international franchise, serving up smiles in communities around the world.
Q: What is your circulation area?
A: Coffee News® reaches thousands of readers weekly throughout the Miamisburg, Kettering, Springboro, and Centerville areas. Look for us in restaurants, cafes, and local waiting areas.
Q: Can I subscribe to Coffee News®?
A: Not at this time. Coffee News® is a free publication and is only available at select high-traffic locations like restaurants, coffee shops, and service waiting areas — places where people have time to read and engage.
Q: How often is Coffee News® published?
A: A new issue is published every week.
Q: Can restaurants advertise in Coffee News®?
A: No. Out of respect for our distribution partners — which include restaurants and cafes — we do not accept ads from the food service industry. This policy ensures restaurants aren’t promoting competitors within their own locations.
Q: What does it cost to advertise in Coffee News®?
A: Our ads are affordable — often less than a cup of coffee per day! All advertising is category-exclusive, meaning only one business per category is featured at a time. Contact us to check availability and get a quote!
Q: How long should I run my ad?
A: We offer both short-term and long-term campaigns. Remember: advertising works through repetition. Readers typically need to see an ad at least 8 times before they act. The longer your ad runs, the stronger your results.
Q: How do I pay?
A: We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Q: Do I need to create my ad?
A: Not at all! A professional graphic artist will design your ad for you. Just send us your logo and the information you’d like included. If you already have a design, it must be 2” high x 3” wide, black & white, 300 dpi, and submitted as a print-ready PDF.
Q: Can I update my ad?
A: Yes! We offer free minor ad changes at any time — by phone, email, or in person.
Q: Can I just use my business card as my ad?
A: You can, but we don’t recommend it. Business cards rarely make effective ads. Instead, let us design something impactful using your branding that drives results.
